The Kfar Saba Magistrate's Court has convicted former Tira Mayor Halil Qassam of committing an indecent act and a series of corruption-related offences.
Qassam, 63, was convicted of sexually assaulting a woman during his term as mayor and taking bribes from various elements. (Raanan Ben-Zur)
