Record 12,000 people passed through Allenby crossing

On Monday with the start of the month of Ramadan, a record 12,000 people crossed via the Allenby crossing between Israel and Jordan. This is according to the Airports Authority, which is responsible for the border crossings.
It was decided by the Authority to keep the crossings open 24 hours a day over the first few days of Ramadan. (Shahar Chai)
