Report: Egypt to reopen Rafah Crossing closed after Sinai attacks
The Alarabiya network reported that Egypt decided to reopen the Rafah Crossing on Wednesday after it was closed on Friday due to an attack by jihadist elements in Sinai against military and police posts in the peninsula.
In the course of the attacks, armed Islamists fired rockets toward a Rafah police station and opened fire toward the el-Arish airport and at three army checkpoints. One Egyptian officer was killed and two injured. (Roi Kais)
