Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke at the official memorial service for former Prime Minister Yitzhak Shamir, who passed away last year, and said: "The fire of fulfillment burned in Shamir, who dedicated his life to the rise of his country."
Netanyahu further added: "Shamir believed that our duty as a small country surrounded by hostile forces is to fortify our strength." (Noam Dvir)
