Welfare Minister: Arab sector completely underfunded

Welfare Minister Meir Cohen spoke during a Knesset discussion on juvenile delinquency in the Arab sector, and said: "There is no field in which (the lack of funding for the Arab sector) does not reek to high heaven. The reality is very tough – there is a lack in social workers and social security bureaus. I am shocked to see how much of what we have, they don't.
In a separate Knesset committee meeting, the minister added that he hoped to bring about a revolution in the number of Arab's employed by the welfare system. (Omri Efraim)
