Gantz: Attack on haredi soldier very serious

Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Benny Gantz commented on the attack on the haredi soldier in the Mea Shearim neighborhood Tuesday night in Jerusalem saying, "The incident is very serious and I am responding to it in every way possible. IDF soldiers fulfill their missions not for shtreimel, or yamalkas, nor for the person who wears none of those, but for all citizens of Israel."
Gantz also addressed the draft law and said, "Haredi soldiers contribute to the army. With the right...process, we can reach an appropriate arrangement for the State of Israel." (Yoav Zitun)
