Ya'alon: Battles like in Yom Kippur less relevant today
Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon said that the new multi-year program of the IDF was created in a measured, responsible way. "Battles of army against the army, in the format we saw last time 40 years ago during the Yom Kippur War, are becoming less and less relevant," Ya'alon stated.
"Measures include investment in weapons and systems that will help the IDF continue to keep a dramatic technological gap between us and the countries and organizations around us," he said. (Yoav Zitun)
