Remnants of polio virus found in Sharon region
Health Ministry officials have discovered remnants of the polio virus in the Sharon region. The virus was found in two sewage sites catering to the communities of Lev Hasharon, Qalanswa, Jaljulia, Kfar Bara and Horeshim.
Recently, remnants of the virus were discovered in southern Israel. Health Ministry officials stressed that the water is not contaminated and there is no need to boil them. (Dr. Itay Gal)
