Ashdod Seaport Union Chairman registers hundreds to Labor

Chairman of the Ashdod Seaport Workers' Union Alon Hassan, who has suspended himself from the role, arrived in the Labor party offices in Tel Aviv and left several hundred party membership applications at the secretariat, eyewitnesses said.

Recently Hassan promised that the seaport workers will settle the score with Labor Chairwoman Shelly Yachimovich after she called him to quit following reports on his allegedly questionable conduct and private businesses. (Moran Azulay)
