Ramadan: 27,000 Palestinians in J’lem for prayers

By 8 am Friday morning, 27,000 Palestinians had entered Jerusalem for the first Friday Ramadan prayers at the Temple Mount. Civil Administration officers and various units of the army and police deployed at border crossings to allow rapid entry of worshipers. No exceptional events have been reported. (Elior Levy)
