Man drowns to death after kayak capsizes

A 50-year-old man drowned after his kayak capsized in the Jordan River, near Beit Hillel, and left him trapped beneath it.
The man remained trapped for 7 minutes and was then rescued by MDA paramedics who resuscitated him and evacuated him to the Ziv Medical Center in Safed. However, en route to the hospital he passed away. (Maor Buchnik)
