The Egyptian Presidential Office announced that Dr. Mohamed ElBaradei was sworn in as the interim deputy president Sunday afternoon.
ElBaradei, former International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Chief, will be in charge of international relations. Earlier Sunday it was announced that former Egyptian ambassador to the United States Nabil Fahmy accepted the post of foreign minister in the interim government being put in place after the removal of president Mohamed Morsi earlier this month.
