Histadrut calls labor dispute in seaports

The Histadrut Labor Federation has called a labor dispute in the seaport in wake of the publication of the tenders to construct two new ports in Ashdod and Haifa.
The Labor Federation's Coordination and Operations Committee convened and made the decision only after talks between Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Histadrut Labor Federation Chairman Ofer Eini. The meaning of the decision is that the ports will legally be allowed to call a strike in 14 days time. (Billie Frankel)
