Life sentence for man who murdered sister for leaving home

The Beersheba District Court has sentenced Jihad Hamaisa, 24, to life sentence after he was convicted for murdering his sister, Friel Hamaisa, some two years ago. Two additional relatives were sentenced to seven years for kidnapping her.
According to the indictment, the woman was kidnapped from a house in Ashkelon and taken to a field where she was choked with a chord by her borther, who then dragged her to a pit, stabbed her twice and buried her. (Ilana Curiel)
