Following Polish slaughter ban, ambassador in Israel summoned

The Polish ambassador to Israel was summoned Monday to a clarification meeting at the Foreign Ministry, following the Polish Parliament's decision to reject a proposed law allowing ritual slaughter.
The Ambassador was told that "Israel expects that Poland fix the distortion." He was also told that the argument that the decision was made for humane reasons was implausible because Poland allows hunting animals for sport and pleasure sport. (Atilla Shmolfavi)
