At least one person was injured and police made nine arrests when a protest over the acquittal of neighborhood watch volunteer accused of killing a black teen in Florida turned violent in Oakland.
Police spokeswoman Johnna Watson says the arrests were for crimes including assault with a deadly weapon and vandalism. The protests followed the acquittal of George Zimmerman accused of killing 17-year-old Trayvon Martin. (AP)
