Hod Hasharon official took bribes, erased debts

Fraud Unit investigators from the Central District Police have detained a senior center Hod Hasharon Municipality official on suspicion of receiving bribes in exchange for erasing the debts of homeowners and businesses.
Nine other suspects have also been detained for paying the bribe money. The mayor of the Hod Hasharon Municipality said he filed the complaint. (Raanan Ben-Zur)
