Finance Minister Yair Lapid reached an agreement with the Chairman of the Finance Committee, MK Nissan Slomiansky, for a reduction of NIS 2 billion on the proposed state budget cutbacks.
The relief includes canceling the immediate increase of income tax by 1.5% and instead doing so in stages, eliminating the decision to impose a health tax and national insurance on mothers who do not work, and reducing the scope of cuts in child allowances. (Avital Lahav and Zvi Lavi)
