Egypt: Policeman killed in Sinai by armed men

An Egyptian policeman in Al-Arish in northern Sinai Peninsula, was killed Wednesday night by armed men who then fled, medical sources reported.

The sources added that the victim, a member of the security forces of Al-Arish, was posted in front of a police station in the city when was targeted by armed men in a car. The policeman died on the spot. (AFP)
