British Army Chief: Syria no-fly zone - ineffective

British Army Chief David Richards estimated that establishing a no-fly zone in Syria would be ineffective without military intervention.
In an interview to the British Daily Telegraph, Richards said: "You have to be able – as we did successfully in Libya – to hit ground targets. You have to establish a ground control zone. You have to take out their air defenses." (Ynet)
