Mortar shells fired at Damascus TV building

Sky network in Arabic reported that mortar shells were fired at a central Damascus square, apparently in attempt to hit the national radio and television building. No casualties were reported.
Meanwhile, Syrian rebels claimed they attacked a security checkpoint in the vicinity of the presidential palace in Damascus. (Roi Kais)
