Palestinian official: Negotiation renewal without settlement freeze
US Secretary of State John Kerry’s formula to renew direct peace talks between Israel and the Palestinians does not include a formal declaration to freeze construction in the settlements, a Palestinian official said.
He said the PA leadership will convene this afternoon under President Mahmoud Abbas to vote on whether to accept the offer. (AFP)
