Egypt's army distributes leaflets ahead of Sinai op

Egyptian army helicopters spread leaflets during a Morsi supporters march in the city of el-Arish in the Sinai Peninsula, which said: "Sinai residents have been throughout history a support for the Egyptian army in its fight against the occupation and terror. Recently terror elements took advantage of your lands to attack residents and army forces."

The leaflets warned that the army will "act determinedly against any terror element." In addition, the army warned against staying in agricultural areas at night or close to army posts. The army also demanded citizens to report any suspicious activity. (Roi Kais)
