A Palestinian official told The Wall Street Journal that US Secretary of State John Kerry told Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas that the Israeli government has agreed to a "quiet freezing" of settlements construction.
According to the official, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu must release several prisoners before the resumption of talks between the parties in Washington. (Ynet)
