Peres congratulates Kerry on talks resumption success

President Shimon Peres spoke with US Secretary of State John Kerry and congratulated him on his success to renew direct talks between Israel and the Palestinians.
Kerry recently conducted intensive shuttle diplomacy in the Middle East, which concluded with a breakthrough. Friday night, after additional meetings in Jordan and Ramallah, the senior diplomat returned to Amman and announced the resumption of talks. (Attila Somfalvi)
