Official sources: Negotiations to resume without preconditions

In light of reports about prisoner release and construction freezing, official senior sources have clarified that the negotiations will resume without any preconditions.

 

Earlier Saturday, one of Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas' aides told the Wall Street Journal that the Israeli government agreed to a "quiet freezing" of settlements construction, and Benjamin Netanyahu pledged to release several Palestinian prisoners prior to Washington talks between the two sides.
