Draft law approved for working women in Judea, Samaria

The Ministerial Committee on Legislative Affairs approved by a majority of seven supporters against one in opposition, Health Minister Yael German (Yesh Atid), a bill proposed by MK Orit Struk (Habayit Hayehudi), according to which a women's labor law will be applied in Judea and Samaria.
Under the bill, women working for Israeli employers in Judea and Samaria will be entitled to all the protections provided by law in cases in which they are absent from work due to maternity, pregnancy, adoption or fertility treatments. The law applies to Israeli and Palestinian women as one. (Moran Azulay)
