Ya'alon: Defense budget cuts – risky, mustn't last

Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon referred on Monday to the cuts to the defense budget at the Knesset's Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee: "This is risk taking which cannot last for long. We must return the system to a training routine as fast as possible."

Ya'alon added: "I've agreed that the defense establishment will participate in the cuts because we have to share the burden but at first a three billion cut was discussed, and now they talk about seven billion, and for us that doesn't compute." (Yoav Zitun)
