Minister Lapid meets Obama's chief Middle East advisor

Finance Minister Yair Lapid met on Monday in his Knesset office with Phil Gordon, US President Barack Obama's chief advisor on Middle Eastern affairs. The two discussed the importance of the resumption of the peace process.
Lapid stressed his commitment to the talks and told Gordon that "The Yesh Atid party will support steps to promote a permanent accord between Israel and Palestinians, which will bring peace and stability to the Middle East." (Attila Somfalvi)
