Governance Bill to go into first reading after fierce debate

The Knesset's Constitution, Law and Justice Committee approved after a seven hour long debate the Governance Bill for a first reading in the Knesset, with seven voting for and six against. According to the bill, the government will hold 18 ministers not including the prime minister, and four deputy ministers.

 

In addition, a motion of no confidence could only be filed once a month or per the request of 61 MKs. MK Mickey Rosenthal (Labor) said: "The Yesh Atid party is worse than Lieberman's. They say they came to change but they came to cheat." (Moran Azulay)
