Ya'alon: Hope Egypt will overcome radical Islam in Sinai

Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon said that the Egyptian army is facing a large-scale operation to eradicate terror agents in the Sinai Peninsula: "We receive daily reports about (terror) attacks, and the fear of course is that these events would turn against us. I hope that the Egyptian defense system will overcome the challenges of radical Islam in Sinai."
Ya'alon made the remarks during a visit to the Egyptian border and Iron Dome battery in Eilat. The minister was accompanied by IDF Southern Command Chief Major-General Sami Turjeman, (Yoav Zitun)
