The Ethics Committee has decided to suspend Knesset Member Ahmad Tibi (United Arab List-Ta'al) from presiding over plenum sessions until the end of the current session after he poured a glass of water on a copy of the Prawer Bill, which aims to regulate Bedouin settlement in the Negev.
The water caused NIS 21,000 (about $5,900) worth of damage to a speaker and amplifier, which had to be replaced. (Moran Azoulay)
