Longterm prisoners: If there are manipulations, won't leave

Security prisoners held in Israel since before the Oslo Accords, the majority of whom will probably be released in peace talks, are threatening not to leave prison if there is no monitoring to ensure the release of all 103 prisoners who are members of the list, including 14 who are citizens of Israel. "If there are manipulations, we will not leave," the prisoners stated.

The prisoners collectively signed a letter giving consent to their release in several phases, but demand that 52 of them be released in the initial phase. (Elior Levy)
