Report: Abbas to visit Cairo next week

The Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Jarida reported that Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas is expected to visit Cairo on Sunday. Abbas will be the second Arab leader to visit Egypt after the ouster of President Mohamed Morsi.
According to the report, Abbas is expected to meet with interim leadership officials and discuss the situation in Sinai, reconciliation of the different Palestinian camps and the renewal of negotiations with Israel. (Roi Kais)
