Chabad emissary to Russia not in life risk after Wednesday shooting

Rabbi Ovadia Isakov, a Chabad emissary to the city of Derbent in the Republic of Dagestan, Russia, is in better condition after being shot by anonymous assailants on Wednesday night. Isakov was seriously injured, and is now in moderate condition and not in life risk.
Isakov regained consciousness Saturday, and is now breathing on his own and still hospitalized in Rabin Medical Center's emergency room. (Yaron Kelner)
