Arden will object to prisoner release

Home Front Defense Minister Gilad Arden announced that he will vote against the release of prisoners. Arden said, "The release of terrorist killers without clear compensation for the State of Israel cannot be a prerequisite or be done as a gesture to the Palestinians."
He added, "When the results of the negotiations are not known and when Abu Mazen does not work against incitement within the Authority and is connected to Hamas, thought can be given to releasing prisoners before the talks only if it will bring the release of Jonathan Pollard." (Moran Azulay)
