MK Ahmad Tibi (United Arab List-Ta'al) addressed the issue of the release of prisoners and said, "If a decision is made not to release all prisoners of Oslo, 104 in total, it will be a clear violation of the agreements with US Secretary of State John Kerry and the Palestinian Authority. Therefore I believe that it would prevent the resumption of negotiations."
Tibi added, "The opposition of ministers to the prisoner agreement stems from the fact that it is back in the political process and not in the return of a kidnapped soldier." (Ynet)
