Sinai: Egyptian soldier killed, 8 injured in attack on army post

An Egyptian soldier was killed and eight others were injured in an assault on an army post in Rafah on the Gaza border. Security sources said that unknown assailants fired a rocket at the post and fled the scene.
Egyptian security forces have recently launched a large-scale military operation to stop terror in the Sinai Peninusula. (AFP)
