At end of papal visit to Brazil, Pope considering Jerusalem visit
At the end of his papal visit to Brazil, Pope Francis said he is considering visiting Israel and the Palestinian Authority.
"Patriarch Bartholomew I (the Greek Archbishop and Patriarch of Constantinople) would like a meeting for the 50th anniversary of Paul VI in Jerusalem. The Israeli government has extended an invite for the anniversary in Jerusalem and I think the Palestinian Authority as well. We are thinking about it," the pope said. (Reuters)
