US Secretary of State John Kerry has appointed former-US Ambassador to Israel Martin Indyk to the role of US Special Envoy to peace negotiations.
"Ambassador Indyk has agreed to take on this critical task at a crucial time as Special Envoy for Israeli-Palestinian Negotiations," Kerry tweeted. "Ambassador Indyk shares my belief that if leaders on both sides show willingness to reasonably compromise, then peace is possible." (Ynet)
