Israeli police forces foiled the smuggling of 140 kg of hashish in the vicinity of the Egyptian border.
Forces chased after the smugglers and seized the drugs, which are estimated to be worth millions of shekels. Less than a month ago, police forces stopped a drug smuggling attempt of 175 kg of hashish, with an estimated value of more than NIS 10 million ($2.8 millon). (Ilana Curiel)
