State cancels draft orders for thousands of haredim

The State informed the High Court of Justice that in light of a petition filed by Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon, it was decided to cancel the draft orders for thousands of haredi yeshiva students this summer, since the Knesset has yet to complete the legislation process of the new draft bill.
The State claimed there is no place for interim orders since recruiting yeshiva students at this stage could risk completing the legislation and a four-month postponement would not harm legislation efforts. (Aviel Magnezi)
