Secretary of State John Kerry said in a press conference Tuesday regarding the Israeli Palestinian peace talks that US President Obama supported the talks and that Netanyahu and Abbas showed "courageous leadership" in allowing the talks. The US secretary of state said the talks are striving to compromise in way to a two state solution.
Kerry commented, "Both parties have agreed to keep the content of the talks confidential. I am the only one who is authorized to publicly speak of the talks." He emphasized that the US will work with both Palestinian and Israelis to secure a long-term, two state solution. (Ynet)
