LATAM countries to complain in UN about US spying

Nine Latin American ALBA member countries have announced that they will file a complaint with the United Nations against the United States for spying, as revealed by whistle blower Edward Snowden. The complaint will be filed in September.

The purpose of the complaint is to denounce "US espionage in the world that violates human rights." The countries include Venezuela, Cuba, Ecuador, Bolivia and Nicaragua, some of which Snowden turned to in requesting asylum. (AFP)
