Economics prof to be appointed new Bank of Israel governor

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Finance Minister Yair Lapid have decided to appoint Prof. Leo Leiderman as governor of the Bank of Israel.
Leiderman, an economics professor from Tel Aviv University, was previously the head of the research division in the Bank of Israel. (Avital Lahav)
