Court revokes early release of suicide bomber's accomplice

A Lod court accepted the State's petition and ordered the revoking of a parole committee's decision to allow the early release of Abed abu-Much, an Israeli-Arab sentenced to 10 years in jail.

Abu-Much was convicted on five charges of negligent causing of death and 30 charges of negligent causing of severe injury after giving a ride to a suicide bomber from Taybeh to a Netanya mall, where the latter performed a multi-casualty attack. In their ruling the judges wrote that the committee did not properly weigh in the risks involved in abu-Much's release. (Raanan Ben-Zur)
