Suspicion: 5 tourists stole jewels worth hundreds of thousands
Five tourists from South America were arrested on suspicion of stealing a bag containing jewelry worth hundreds of thousands of shekels. According to the suspicion, they slashed the tires of a jewelry dealer in Tel Aviv, and while he was changing the tires, they seized his bag.
Police tracked the tourists using a tracking device that was planted in the bag. They will be brought to remand hearing at the Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court Thursday morning. (Eli Senyor)
