Iran: Millions march protesting Israel

None

Millions of people are participating in marches across Iran to mark Al-Quds Day, in which Iranians express their opposition to Israel and Jerusalem. Al Quds Day was created by Iran in 1979, and since, has been observed yearly, on the last Friday of Ramadan.

On Thursday, Iran's Foreign Ministry called for citizens, and other Muslim countries, to demonstrate against Israel. "The clear message conveyed by Palestinian resistance and Islamic awakening in the Middle East are that this is the only way to save the Palestinian nation against the occupying regime," the statement said.
