US ambassador to Russia spoke with Kremlin on Snowden

The US Embassy in Russia said that Ambassador Michael McFaul spoke with a Kremlin adviser regarding the new status of American whistleblower Edward Snowden. Russia yesterday approved Snowden’s asylum application.
