Cabinet approves national priority map; Peretz, Livni abstain

The government approved the revised national priority map, which will include remote settlements in Judea and Samaria, with 15 ministers voting in favor of the new outline. Yesh Atid Ministers Yael German and Ya'akov Peri, as well as Hatnua Ministers Tzipi Livni and Amir Peretz, abstained.

Peretz and Livni criticized the plan, claiming the list of towns represents political priorities and not national priorities. Peretz said: "It cannot be that Kiryat Gat and Kiryat Malachi are not included, yet newly-legal settlements are included under the 'security threat' criteria." (Moran Azulay)
